Description: This would certainly be considered one of the Durango area premiere subdivisions for top quality homes. Terrain varies from sparsely treed to heavily treed in Ponderosa pines. Some of the newer lots in the Estates section have an eastern orientation towards a new Lake being built as part of the Animas La Plata Project. Other lots have beautiful La Plata Mountain views. Horses are allowed on some lots but not all, based on acreage. Most of the subdivision has paved roads now. Shenandoah Estates, Shenandoah Highlands, and Shenandoah Peaks are three of the phases within the Shenandoah subdivision. |
