Durango Information Page...

Durango has a fairly diverse economy and is no longer married strictly to the tourism business.  Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Loronix Information Systems are two publicly traded firms who started in Durango....and still maintain their headquarters here.  We have 2 industrial/business parks with a third one very much needed.  Fort Lewis College adds immensely to our town not only through employment, but also through the cultural activities it brings.  A very detailed economic package can be acquired through our Chamber of Commerce.  Here is a direct link to them  http://www.Durango.org
