Another picture taken from the Silverton Mountain ski
area looking across the valley to the property. Out of the
picture, and to the far right would be velocity basin where the world
speed ski races were held during the 1980s. |
 |
This picture was taken north of the subject property
looking almost due South. The two mountains in the far background
are Storm and Tower mountain. Silverton lies immediately on
the other side of those mountains. Over the ridge in the
foreground and on the ridge in the middleground where the trees are
located, are 2 of the claims: Red Dick and the Enterprise. The
view from these claims is absolutely stunning. |
 |
The western ends of the Red Dick and the Enterprise mining
claims come down into the trees that you see right about in the middle
of this picture. The road in the lower portion of the picture is a
county road. |
 |
The
Minnehaha #2 lode claim is located just to the left of he existing
cabin. This would be a very nice "rim location" for several cabin
sites. From this spot you would have great views of the Minnehaha
Basin and the ski area to the southwest. |
 |
This area
is a snowmobiler's and cross country skier's paradise. Best part
is you can park at Gladstone and come up County Road 51 (not plowed in
the winter) and never cross an avalanche path. This would be
considered very good summer access where 4-wheel drive would not
be required, but a vehicle with good clearance can easily make the trip. |

This is a bearing rock that has been chiseled into
marking corner number six of the Minnehaha Lode mining claim.
These are very difficult to find and we were very fortunate to have
located this particular boulder. |
