LISA GOVREAU ~ Senior Buyer Specialist & Listing Partner

Enthused with the lifestyle, the climate, and the people, Lisa has lived in Durango with her family since 1993. She built on her marketing degree with GRI and CRS certifications in real estate and is working on additional advanced real estate accreditations. With her experience in Durango’s real estate market since 2003 and subsequent specialization in buyer representation with Team Lorenz, Lisa can provide a smooth and effective transaction for any buyer. Her children and many ongoing volunteer service activities keep her very involved in the community. Besides family activities, she enjoys skiing, hiking, golf, is active in a book club and is serving on the Durango High School After Prom Committee and the Needham Elementary PTO.

RENEE WHITTEMORE ~ Buyer Specialist & Listing Partner

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Renee and her family visited Durango over 10 years ago and made the decision that this was the place to raise the children, work, and play. Renee was a real estate agent in Tennessee while also running their custom home building company with her husband. Renee has been selling real estate in the Durango area since January of 2007 while still working with her husband’s construction company. She has become knowledgeable in the real estate market as well as building in the Durango and surrounding areas. Additionally, she understands the process of making a big move from one state to another having learned first-hand, the complexity of the process. Renee's goal is to make sure her customers are fully informed in their purchase and to ensure that the transaction is both smooth and uneventful. Buying and selling a home should be a great experience. She is a member of the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing and is always perfecting methods to get her seller's home sold for the best price and in the shortest amount of time with the least amount of interruptions. Renee enjoys 4-wheeling in the mountains, hiking, and just soaking in the great outdoors that Colorado has to offer. Photography is her hobby, so Durango offers an unlimited "palette" from which to do her creative photography.

JIM BAUMGARDT ~ Marketing Director

Jim's background as a professional photographer, gallery owner and computer engineer makes him particularly well suited to manage the many marketing methods employed by Team Lorenz. His marketing skills will be highly utilized in not only maintaining but expanding the various websites and other electronic media used in marketing properties for our sellers. The Team is very fortunate to have a man of Jim's background, experience and various skill sets learned over many years, to become a member of this Team.

Lisa Gordon ~ Closing Coordinator

As a young girl, Lisa fell in love with the mountains and when the opportunity arose she left Texas after graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in finance. With a background in mortgage banking, Lisa will bring that expertise to Team Lorenz as the closing and transaction coordinator to help ensure a smooth and effective closing. Like many, Lisa started with a summer home at Tamarron and then moved to Durango full-time in 1997. She enjoys volunteering with the San Juan Mountains Association, Therapy Dogs International and the US Forest Service. In her spare time she loves gardening, knitting and the age-old skill of quilting which she learned from her grandmother. Many days you'll see Lisa walking her dogs at Vallecito Lake.
